SolveigMM Video Editing SDK Release Notes

We have released an upgrade to SolveigMM Video Editing SDK, bringing the support to frame/K-frame accurate operations for FLV, WEBM, AVI files:

FLV files frame/K-frame accurate trimming, joining and muxing
WEBM files frame/K-frame accurate trimming, joining and muxing
AVI files frame accurate trimming

The biggest change is the sample application of the famous editing app - SolveigMM Video Splitter available within SolveigMM Video Editing SDK 3.0 release. It will show how to perform trimming and joining of all supported formats, totrack the route on Yandex maps and to observe speedometer, accelerometer and compass readings on DVR files including GPS extra data.

The source codes added to SolveigMM Video Editing SDK 3.0 provide additional functionality to the existing SDK. Highlights of the changes include:

Muxing MP4 to ASF for Microsoft Playready platform
Implementing Timeline ActiveX Control with thumbnails and audio waveform
Saving video frame/frames as JPEG and BMP file
