I downloaded Beta 3.1, registered this version, and I am still getting video compression error, after have made the setting adjustments recommended.

I am disappointed that this product that I paid over $50 USD for doesn't work.  Please recommend a fix in a timely manner.

Basically what I've noticed is that I'll record for a little bit, hit the pause button, wait maybe 20-30 seconds, then when I hit "unpause" to continue recording, I get "Video Compression Error" and hypercam stops recording. Could someone please tell me what the issue is?
