Why big AVI cant be opened in adobe premiere pro?

- send us the list of installed codecs in your  system. To get it enter "dxdiag" to Run..., then "Save All Information".

HyperCam uses Windows API tools for screen capture and call of this function with the same arguments, but at different times, takes a different amount of time. At the same time it is not known in advance how much time this will take. Therefore, it turns out that one frame is recorded with one duration and another frame with another other duration. Therefore the file is created with variable frame rate.

If you already have the Lagarith codec installed, please try to reinstall it from the link I've provided.

On our test computer we have also such codec and the reinstallation helped us to fix that issue in Adobe.

If the problem remains after reinstallation, please give the link to webpage where you have downloaded the codec.

Can you give additional information how to fix already recorded files in such a way?

Thank you for your post.

We have reproduced the issue with playback in Adobe After Effects and Premiere if record file with specified settings.

As soon as it will be fixed, I'll post the updated version here.

I have noticed that if the AVI file size is greater than 2.5 GB, when you open it in Adobe Premiere the sound is not synchronized!
I use

Video: LAGS 1920x1080 30fps [V: lagarith, rgb24, 1920x1080]
Audio: PCM 44100Hz stereo 1411kbps [A: pcm_s16le, 44100 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 1411 kb/s]

How to fix problem?

In player all ok (MPC-HC) but After Effects and Premiere cant play files - skip and desyncs
