Video Splitter / Re: Maximum video length SolveigMM Video Splitter can handle?

I was able to successfully split the file using MKVToolNix. So I guess SolveigMM just can't handle videos of this length.

Would be helpful to know the maximum video length that SolveigMM is able to work with.

I have a 27 hour long YouTube video that won't play the last 30 minutes in the YouTube app. I can download the video and confirm it's good until the end.

Nothing I try in SolveigMM to split and save the last 30 minutes will work. I get "Now Splitting the Sequence" or "Now splitting into fragments" and it just sits there with the timer counting up indefinitely.

Is this too long a length for the application to handle properly?

I specified the full command line used for encoding. You can encode *any* video with that and get a result to test with.

But I picked a random YouTube video and did it for you anyways. Here it is:

The distortions in SolveigMM Video Splitter and identical to what is seen when loading lossless encoded videos in old versions of VLC, Roku, or any software or hardware that does not support lossless playback. So I'm guessing lossless just isn't something SolveigMM is able to work with.

I have a lossless h264 file that I need to split some segments out of. My workflow strategy was to use SolveigMM to do this.

It's encoded as lossless h264 (High 4:4:4, 8-bit i420).

Video Splitter / Video Splitter 7.3.2005.8 - MPEG-1 Split repeats first frame

In segments that have a start point marker that is not at the beginning of the file, the final frame is a repeat of the first frame.

I rolled back to version 7.3.2002.06 and the problem is not present in that version.
