As I have not regrettably reproduced this issue at our end, could you please specify what command you use to delete the file from the timeline?
It also would be helpful for us if you could upload the files you have tried to open to e.g. Google drive (drive.google.com).

The issue with hanging of Video Splitter on 0% on MKV files editing was fixed in the version 7.6.2102.25 available for download at its home page:

Could you please send us the original input file that you open in Video Splitter and the project file? You can upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. Google drive (https://drive.google.com) or Wetransfer.com.

To get the project file open the input file in Video Splitter, set fragments for saving and deleting then go to File menu -> Save project as and select folder to save the project file.

Thank you for your post.

Please try to reinstall Video Splitter as it is described below.
At first you need completely uninstall it from your PC. Use Start ->  Programs -> Solveig Multimedia -> SolveigMM Video Splitter -> Uninstall or uninstall it via the Windows Control Panel.

Please check that there are no files after uninstallation in the folders

"C:\Program Files\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition"
and
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia"

If you have 64 bit version the folders will be:

"C:\Program Files(x86)\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition"
and
"C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia"

If there will be any files in this folders please delete them manually from these folders.

Then you could install the product again. If it will be problems with registration, please contact us via support(at)solveigmm(dot).com.

If this will not help, then could you please send us the original input file that you open in Video Splitter and the project file? You can upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. Google drive (https://drive.google.com) or Wetransfer.com.

Regrettably there is no option in Video Splitter to rename audio tracks. We will possibly add such feature to its future releases.

Спасибо за Ваш ответ.
Проблему для Windows XP постараемся поправить.
Что касается временной шкалы на таймлайне, то в качестве решения, вы можете увеличить масштаб экрана в настройках Windows (в Windows 10 правая кнопка мыши / Параметры экрана / Дисплей / Разрешение экрана - веберите значение больше 100%). При этом масштаб интрефейса Video Splitter также увеличится. Данная функция доступна с версии 7.6.2011.05.

Спасибо за Ваше сообщение.
К сожалению, описанные вами проблемы не воспроизвелись с данным файлом на нашей стороне на последней версии 7.6.
Попробуйте, пожалуйста, переустановить программу. После удаления проверьте, что все файлы удалены в папках

"C:\Program Files\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter Business Edition"
и
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia"

По поводу проблемы, что видео не начинается с выбранного вами места, проверьте, пожалуйста, включена ли настройка в меню Управление / Точность до кадра (Умный режим). Если она отключена, то редактирование будет происходить не с точностью до кадра, а с точностью до ключевого кадра и в этом случае в полученном результате могут присутстовать лишние кадры в начале фрагмента. Поэтому включите, пожалуйста, данную настройку.
