Updates  splitter version - 1.0.1012.30 / muxer version 1.0.1012.29:

SMM Matroska Splitter/Muxer x86

SMM Matroska Splitter/Muxer x64

Changes/Fixes:

Splitter:
- make separate pins for all streams - apply without reconnect
- can't seek after language switch
- "No Subtitles" should be selected if none of other sub streams have default/forced flag set
- zlib compressed PGS Subtitles support

Muxer:
- Track Name, Language, Default  and Forced flags Selection in muxer prop page.

Also There is SMM MKV Muxer Sample Application   that demonstrates ability of the muxer and allows to remux video to mkv format.

SolveigMM WMP Trimmer Plug-In / Re: problem with trim

Cannot seem to get this to work. Trying capture a bit of a mp3. file but when I hit the trim button I get ... engine error cannot start trim process

Running W7 64 with WMP version 12

Any idea why it will not start the trim process.

Please, download  update here .  If this doesn't help please add notification to  this thread again.

Video Splitter / Re: Slow!

Splitting is very slow for me as well (> 1 hour, removing 10 mins at the beginning and 5 mins at the end of a 50 min recording, on a i7 920, 6GB RAM, RAID1, Windows 7 64bit).

My recordings are .ts, MPEG-2 straight from DVBViewer.

Have you tried recent Video Splitter 2.3 beta. This should solve the problem.

Hello obsh

Yes, there is the problem with Trimmer Plugin.
It's displayed is in settings area of the WMP, so if you open another tool e.g. "play speed settings" it will close the plugin's window and you should open plugin again.
We will try to make Option to display plugin in a separate window in future updates.

But for now you can do it manually by downloading sepW.zip.

1. Close WMP if it was opened.
2. Extract an archive and open Enable_SepW.reg  to add entry to registry for displaying plugin in separate window.

If you would like to turn of this just reinstall the plugin.

Обновление доступно по следующей ссылке

Текущая версия: 2.3.1010.12.

Fixes:
- Краш при открытии видео-файлов.

Издеваетесь?
"По следующей ссылке" нет никакого обновления.
Там та же версия - SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.3.1009.20. С тем же крашем.

Извиняемся за старую ссылку. Мы пытаемся локализовать проблему, если вы нам поможете будем очень признательны.
Чтобы локализовать проблему:

1.Убедиться что стоит версия не ниже SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_2_3_1010_13
2. Запускаем Video Splitter
3. очищаем логи Tools->Logging->Clear Logs (если они уже были)
4. Включаем логирование Tools->Logging->Enable Logs. Перезапускаем приложение.
5. Загружаем проблемный файл.
6. Если Video Splitter падает запускаем его снова. Tools->Logging->Browse Logs - откроется папка с логами (нужны все)

- KaxVideoPixelWidth KaxVideoDisplayHeight not a mandatory element fix (hangup on some files)

Muxer:
- muxer file blocking not in running state.

First of all, thanks for a great tool! 

I found a small problem.  If I drag an .avi file to the Trimmer shortcut, Trimmer opens OK, but the preview window can only be viewed full screen.  The preview window can be minimized to the taskbar, but not resized.  Closing down AVI Trimmer and reopening does not correct this behaviour.

The only way I have found to correct this, is to reinstall AVI Trimmer (and remember not to open AVI Trimmer by dragging a file to the shortcut!).

Am I missing something?


Specs:  Vista Home Premium 32 bit.  AVI Trimmer v 2.0.1008.16

I've tried to open the avi file on Vista by dragging it to the avi trimmer shortcut but get no fullscreen window. So, can't conform this bug.
Could you provide screenshoot of this problem? does preview window have borders and header?

Use any file hosting service you wish (e.g. http://yousendit.com or http://www.2shared.com).
Can you repeat trimming operation and get the same audio out of sync?
As i've said it will be better to reproduce the problem on our end, so the source file needed.

Could you upload somewhere the file you've tried to trimm and  provide time intervals you've selected. If not - provide the file format and codecs information in it, we will try to reproduce the problem with the files of the same type. But original file will be better.

Hi, I am trying to remux more than one video track. I have at least two sources of streams (video and sound) and I need to join them in one standard multimedia format as Matroska. The source of streams is live capturing (two cameras and two microphones).

I use graphedit and monogram graph studio to construct the graph.

There was limit for muxer - don't allow more than one video track. This was fixed. You can try an update versions of muxer/splitter to implement your task.

If this wouldn't help, I'll try to reproduce your problem in my end, if you provide graph's screenshot and components versions.
