The file you have uploaded is the mp3 file, it also seems to be corrupted as it can't be played in the payers.
Please upload the right files (the original file with hevc and the project file).

Thank you for your post.
Could you please send us the original input file that you open in Video Splitter and the project file? You can upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. Google drive (https://drive.google.com) or Dropbox.com.

To get the project file open the input file in Video Splitter, set fragments for saving and deleting then go to File menu -> Save project as and select folder to save the project file.

Here is the guideline on how to upload files if needed.

To get the project file, please put markers at the timeline and then go to File / Save project as.

Have you tried to use the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Video Splitter 8?
If the issue happens with 32-bit version, I would recommend to try to use the 64-bit version:

I've not noticed any problems with editing SRT subtitles in MKV at our end with the latest version 8.0.

Хотим сообщить что в версии 8 Video Splitter работает прокрутка колесиком мыши в окне "Выберите потоки", в окне "Настройки".
Также можно изменять размеры данных окон.
