Makes sense. As long as audio and video streams are not modifided, a little difference in bitrate is what happens when you trim the file.

Thanks Dmitry

Hello Usman,

Really, some times input file paramers can vary of ouput ones. That is the question how the file has been remultiplexed.
But though video/ audio streams are not affected while trimming, no real degradation happens, however a bitrate and data rate were nominally changed.

Although the software team claims no video quality degradation after trimming however I have observed that using WMP trimmer, the output clip is degraded in both datarate and total bitrate (Although minor but degraded). The original datarate was 1182 kbps and total bitrate was 1374 kbps. The trimmed was at 1144 kbps and 1336 kbps respectively. why is it so ?
