Dmitry, Thanks for the reply. I've done some more testing and I can report:

I dual-booted XP over my initially installed Vista configuration. SolveigMM works flawlessly through XP.

Also, certain portions of my C:\Preload directory (used by Vista) are being corrupted. Does SolveigMM utilize that directory in anyway? (If so, corruption of a few sectors of my hdd may be the problem)

Hi, The following problem occurs with the latest version of Avi Trimmer, as well as Video Splitter 2.x. Windows Vista throws an application crashed error (~95% of the time) after a video has finished being trimmed. In Video Splitter, this occurs after a single file in a batch has been trimmed. I have tried with and without ffdshow installed.

I would be glad to provide any step-by-step or system info as needed.
