Hello to all!

We wish to inform that we we have added two new possibilities to the Batch Manager of Video Splitter:
The feature is to set the same times for the saved fragment or to set the same duration of the files at the end and beginning of  the file that should not be included to the final video.

The version with new features for batch processing is available for download here:

http://solveigmm.com/files/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Business_Edition_6_1_1703_6_Beta.exe

To set the same start and end time of the fragment in the all files:

Please mark the tasks in Batch Manager and click the right mouse button and select “Set Start/Stop on Selected Task(s) ”

Please set the required times and they will be changed in the marked tasks within the list

To set the same duration at the beginning and the end of the file that should be deleted

For example, you have 100 files of different duration and in all of them would like to delete the first 4 seconds at the beginning and 8 seconds at the end.

You can drag and drop the files from Windows Browser to the Batch Manager without adding to Video Splitter Interface.  Further please select the files and click right mouse button and please select Shift Trimming Intervals.

Please enter the required values:

And please launch the tasks for editing

Hello Epstein,

Good news regarding this feature request!

We discuss the possibility of adding the batch processing of folder with the number of video files to the Business Edition version of SolveigMM Video Splitter.

As soon as this feature will be ready, I'll post here.

Thanks.

Hello Epstein,

Thank you for your post.

Regrettably at the present time there is no such feature to batch process the folder of the files that is loaded to Video Splitter with the same parameters for trimming.

But this feature will be possibly added by our developers team in the next releases of the program.

Meanwhile you can use the "Keeps project settings (intervals, selected streams) for all files within a session" settings that helps to use the same time settings for all selected fragments. You can set this option in Tools menu -> Preferences -> Control panel.

If such feature appear in Video Splitter next releases, I'll post here.

Thank you.

Hey guys,

I have a folder full of hundreds of one minute long mp4's. I would like to batch trim the final 30 seconds (maybe 20) of each video, discarding the first 30 seconds.

Is there a script for a function like this? Having to input the file name of every video would simply take too long.

Thanks.
