Ok, but could you add "estimated duration" somewhere in the UI? It would be very useful to see how long is going to be the trimmed video.

Thank you for your post and question.

This method of destination file size calculation is very inaccurate.
Sometimes video have several video/audio streams, but after editing it is possible to save only one video/audio track. In this case this method will not be suitable.
Also there is not always the direct dependence between the file size and duration, the outut file duration depends on the format of the container and using muxer.

I wonder why doesn't SolveigMM Video Splitter calculate file size like this:

1. 300 MB file = 100 minutes
2. After editing if the estimated duration is 25 min than destination file size is:
                                               x= 300/(100/25) = 75 MB

It's instant, so why not make an option to choose the method for calculating destination file size (default which is slower or this one which is instant)?
