Dear mugz,

Thank you for your post.

Could you please let us know what version of Video Splitter you use?

Could you please upload for us the MKV file you have tried to edit to any file host service, e.g. dropbox.com or filedropper.com?

Also please send us (you can use support(at)solveigmm(dot)com) the project file. To get it select fragments for saving then go to File -> Save project as.

Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Olga Krovyakova

I just recently downloaded this tool to give it a try and I got the above error code when trying to trim an MKV file.

Now, it is a rather "odd" MKV file. It consists of only about 40 frames that are displayed for 5 seconds each. It was muxed with MkvMerge using a timecodes v2 file designed to display still images as a sort of slide show. I wanted to trim off some images at the beginning and end and save just a few in the middle - but I get this error.

Any ideas on how I might accomplish what I'm trying to do?

Edit: I am running Windows 7 Ultimate edition and I've tried running the video splitter as admin as well.
