Title: Error opening video file!!!

I am getting an error while trying to open an .XVID file with the splitter(evaluation version).I have the latest XP CODEC pack installed,so Codecs shouldn't be a problem.Once I click 'Ok',the splitter continues to play the file,with no video display.I can hear the sound track though.Screenshot of the error-

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello Josey,

Thank you fro feedback. What is the file format you try to open? AVI or ASF?
If one of them the error you get can only mean that you have not the XVID decoder installed.

try  to download and install FFDSHOW
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm
