the fact that AAC-files play fine on my system (LAV) when I extract them with other software (as also my self-created ones) lead me to the conclusion that yours are not standard conform in some way.
Since I don't want to install another codec just for this purpose I'll just have to wait until you bring up some solution.

Thank you for your post.
I've tried to reproduced the issue you have described and received the same result at our end.

AAC files created by Video Splitter should playback in the players if DC-Bass Source filter is installed. If you can not playback them with the installed filter then this is the bug case.

We will try to fix this issue in near future. As soon as there will be any solution of this issue, I'll post here.
 

Hello,

when I've saved just the audio file of an FLV or MP4 video, the resulting file is not readable by any player in case it is an AAC file.

Other AAC files are playing fine on my system so it can't be a problem of a lacking codec. These extracted files seem to be corrupted in some way.

Is this a known bug or do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
