Title: File extension variety

In my opinion SolveigMM should expand it's possibilities. For example: *.mkv file is very popular now. When you want to split the not needed parts, you just can't do this because the "file is not supported" :)

Our vision of the Splitter development is completely match with yours one.
MKV will definitely be supported by one of the further Splitter versions.
