Thanks for replying Olga, I reinstalled with the link you provided
I was using-
SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition
Installation version 4. 0. 1401. 28
Version 4. 0. 1401. 28
Status: registered

now-
SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition
Installation version 4. 0. 1410. 24
Version 4. 0. 1409. 8
Status: registered

That seems to have done the trick, for whatever reason it is now working.
Thanks for your help.  If it stops working again I will let you know.  Thanks again.

Joining feature should work in the product.
Please let us know what version of Video Splitter you use.
You can try the latest one from the link below:
http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_4_0_Beta.exe

If the reinstallation will not help, could  you please upload for us your files that you have tried to join to any file host service, e.g. Dropbox.com or Google drive, for we could reproduct this issue at our end?

Does this feature work anymore?  Every time I try to use it , the program either freezes up, or I get a handle is invalid message.
