Hello Phil,

Yes, this normal the behavior if you navigate through K-frames (Right/Left buttons), to navigate through frames use Ctrl+Right/Ctrl+Left.

Also for easy navigation you can zoom the timeline (use mouse wheel to shange the timeline scale) and use the bar to navigate to the needed frame.

For details see step 4 of this guideline.

OK, thanks, I am trying that.

It seems better in as much as it no longer jumps end to end of the whole clip, but rather than scene detecting it seems to be jumping 12 frames at a time...is this expected behaviour?

Hello philwebb,

Thank you for file.

Please try to use the latest beta version of Video Splitter. This bug was fixed in it:
http://solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_3_7_Beta.exe

Could you please confirm that it also works on your end?

Olga

Thanks for your reply. I have a Mailbigfile account but I cannot use it as it has a 2GB limit and my files is 3.10GB!!   :o

I will try to look for a smaller file exhibiting the same issue.

Hello Phil,

Thank you for your post.

Regrettably I've not reproduced this with our files.

Could you please upload the sample of your file to any file host service, e.g. dropbox.com or filedropper.com

The mouse wheel is currently used for time line scaling. Use scroll bar (it is above the thumbnails) for navigating to reguired frames.

Hi there.

I am using 3.7.1302.18 Video Splitter. The K Frame buttons don't seem to work - they just jump to the end or beginning of the whole video, not the next scene, it's like they aren't sensing the scenes? Is there a way to adjust this?

The file I am using was originally a WTV file, converted to HD D264 MP4 in Bigsoft WTV converter.

Also - as a suggestion, could the mouse wheel be used to scrub through the frames in a future release like a shuttle / jog wheel? Just a thought
