I'm using the evaluation installation version 3.7.1312.23, version 3.7.1312.18. I'll try the beta version tomorrow or the next. it's pretty hectic around here due to Christmas and all. Thanks.

Hello ricoman,

Thank you for your post.

Could you please let us know what version of Video Splitter have you tried to use?

Will you get the same issue with the version 4 available from the direct link below:

http://www.solveigmm.com/files/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_4_0_1312_24_Beta.exe

If this will not help could you please upload for us the original mp4 file that you have tried to edit (you can use e.g. dropbox.com). Also please send us the project file. To get it select fragments for saving then go to File -> Save project as.

Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Olga Krovyakova

I'm trying this software for the first time with a 7 min. video shot with a Nikon camera. After joining several clips with avidemux it has been converted from mov to mp4. When trying to clip out some blurred video, this software constantly locks up with a not responding message for several minutes. The couple of times I managed to start the video, I get sound, but no video or frames. I am using the evaluation version and would happily buy it if it actually works. I've wasted a couple of hrs. without any luck at all. I've looked at the simple guide, but since I get no video, I can't get started. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? All I have managed to do so far is open the file and even that takes a while for only a 7 min. video.
