Hello WesterSong,

Thank you for your question, but it sounds quite generall, we seem don't have the approptiate software for that task.  So try to google the solution with the phrase like  - convert a music video file in .VOB format
good luck.

Hello slvideo,

Thank you for your question. the files out of DVD with .VOB extensions are MPEG-2 files. So if you want it to have .mpg extension, merely type it in "save as" Splitter dialog or rename the extension after editing in explorer.

The guidance may be helpfull for you - How to split MPEG2 file

Hi,

In Video Splitter, I opened a VOB file from a DVD.  Then I added a couple markers, and tried to save the selected fragment.  But it only lets me save it as a VOB file.  How do I save it as a MPG file?
