Thank you for your post.

You can already do this in Video Splitter 7.
All you need is to define fragments for saving/deleting, then collapse all fragment you would like to be deleted, then play the video back.
To collapse interval for cutting out, please move your mouse pointer to such interval, then click on the upper icon between the start/end markers. The interval will be collapsed:

Do the same for all intervals need to be deleted in the final video. You'll get the following view:

Then you can press the Play button to preview what will be shown in the resulted file.

I'd like the ability to preview the finished video before saving. In other words, play it back and skip all of the marked off sections. Is that possible?
