Hello MegaZero,

Thank you for your reply.

The business edition version is available here.

Still, how could the preview software be working and the full version not?

This is the bug of the version 5.0.1503.17. It is fixed in the current beta version 5.0.1506.30.

The guideline about how to edit subtitle streams that could be helpful for you is available here:

Video tutorial about editing files with subtitles:

If there will be any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you.

Okay. I installed the Beta software but it got rid of the version I had before. It was Business Edition 5 1503. The Beta software seemed to work but I didn't get my desired outcome. The .mkv splits, but the subtitles didn't carry over. I guess that's a complaint for another heading.
Edit: Okay. I did some tinkering around and i solved the subtitle issue. Still, how could the preview software be working and the full version not?

Hello MegaZero,

Could you please let us know what version of Video Splitter you use?
This can be checked in Help -> About SolveigMM.

Please try to use the beta version available for download from the following direct link:

http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_5_0_Beta.exe

Will the issue remain with it?
If not, it would be highly appreciated if you could upload your input mkv file to any file host service, e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com.

Thank you a lot.
Regards,

As the title describes I already selected the area to be trimmed but after selecting the "Trim" option this happens:

This is only an example but when I tried it the first time it was actually well over 2 hours when i noticed it didn't work. I could really use some help with this.
