Hello tmooney,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately the frame accurate editing is not possiple for such WMV files with G2MC codec.

But could you please send us the small sample of such file for we could check if it is possible to set another encoder in the Preferences window of Video Splitter?
You can upload the file to any file host service, e.g. to dropbox.com, and send the link to file to support(at)solveigmm(dot).com.

I downloaded the trial version of Video Splitter to see if it could help me with a project for a client. We have 50 some WMV files that I need to edit out some segments to make them useable.

The original files were encoded from a program called GoToMeeting. When I brough a test file into the program it is giving me a warning that Frame Accuracy (smart mode) is not possible.

When I look at the file in the viewer it is saying G2MC rather than a WMV file. I loaded one of my WMV files and it looks fine.

I tired to do some editing and when I exported the file all of edit points are off and off by several seconds. I am making an assumption that GoToMeeting has some type of WMV export codec that affects the file.

I tired using the program with one of my WMV files and no problem.

Any suggestion on how to get the file to edit frame accurate. I like this program but I want to make sure it work before purchase.
