Thanks, Jane. I used Blender to re-render it to 720p and was able to edit the resulting file. It's also a lot easier to edit a 1280 x 720 file than a 2736 x 1824 file.

A second copy was sent via Google drive, and in both cases, I sent an email to support@solveigmm.com with the details.
Thanks for your patience with my file transfer challenges <grin>.

I have just sent the file via WeTransfer.com, and will send  a second copy via another method as a backup.

I had some difficulty with WeTransfer.com, but I think I've shared the original file with you via Dropbox. Please confirm that you are able to retrieve it.

I notice that your dropbox request email referenced a different file, "class-20211016-part1.mp4", but I assume it is the original one from this ticket that you need.

I've sent the file to support@solveigmm.com, with the name GMT20220303-232312_Recording_2736x1824.mp4 .
It's length is 1,402,747,935 bytes, it's duration is 2:52:12 and it was sent via WeTransfer.com, who sent me a successful transfer confirmation.

Thanks for looking into this matter, and I wish you well in these difficult times.

Thank you for the prompt response. I'll get the file to you within 6 hours. A friend has suggested that I upload the file to Vimeo to see if that works, and if so, download their transcoded file to see if I can get Video splitter to open it. I'll try that after sending the file to you.

Hello nerdoug,

Thank you for your post.
It will be helpful for us if you could upload this file that can not be opened in Video Splitter.
You can upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. Google drive (https://drive.google.com) or Wetransfer.com.

As a result of a guest speaker with an unusual monitor, our club meeting Zoom recording had an unusual resolution, based on the filename: GMT20220303-232312_Recording_2736x1824.mp4 . I have edited files up to 1920x1080 successfully, but when I try to drag and drop this file into either the splitter timeline, or the Media Library, nothing happens. Nothing is added to the Video splitter display.

Details on my config from Splitter "about":
Solveigmm Video Splitter x64 Home Edition
Installed version 7.6.2201.27
Version 7.6.2201.14

If I do "check update" it tells me I have the latest version.

I'm running Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, with i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz on an ASUS N501VW laptop with 16 GB RAM.
OS: Windows 10 Home, Version 21H2, OS build: 19044.1526, Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

I get the normal behaviour where the timeline is populated if I drag in an older 1920x1080 file instead. Same for a 1686x768 file.

I don't see anything unusual in the Windows event viewer.

I was looking for a log file, and noticed in ...AppData/Roaming/Solveig Multimedia/SolveigMM Video Splitter Home / Index there are filenames ending in .apk that imply that I have successfully edited larger resolution files in the past, including 2560x1440 and 2048x1152, but none as big as the current troublesome one.

Is this expected behaviour? If not, I can supply the Zoom recording, which is 1,402,747,935 bytes long. The native resolution of the laptop display is 3840x2160, and I will do further experiments to see if I can reproduce the problem with smaller files and different resolutions, and will update this ticket.
