I have not any problems with version 12.0.7601.17514. Try to update the player if you use the older version.

I'm using windows XP. Windows Media Player 11.
I've also tried a dedicated FLV player.

If I can source a "suitable" file, I'll upload it.

Thanks.

Hello terratec1234,

Unfortunately can not reproduce this with our files on the recent 3.7.1302.12 version.

If you have the same problem with the file that you could send us, please upload it to any file host service, e.g. filedropper.com.
Also send us please the project file.

What version of Windows Media Player do you use?
I have not any problems with version 12.0.7601.17514. Try to update the player if you use the older version.

Will you have the same problem on your end with it?

Unfortunately, yes.

This is my selection:

This is from the file created:

Format                                   : Flash Video
File size                                : 2.22 MiB
Duration                                 : 39s 248ms
Overall bit rate mode                    : Variable
Overall bit rate                         : 475 Kbps

Video
Format                                   : Sorenson Spark
Codec ID                                 : 2
Duration                                 : 39s 248ms
Width                                    : 320 pixels
Height                                   : 240 pixels
Display aspect ratio                     : 4:3
Frame rate mode                          : Constant
Frame rate                               : 23.962 fps
Bit depth                                : 8 bits

Although my selection was 30 seconds, the file created is just over 39 seconds.
My media player shows a playabck time of 5m32s, although 39 seconds is played back.

Hello terratec1234,

Thank you for your post.

Unforunately we have not reproduced this problem on our side with our files on the latest beta version (3.7.1302.12).

Will you have the same problem on your end with it?

If you will reproduce it with "normal" video, could you please upload it to any file host service (e.g. dropbox.com). Please upload or send to suuport(at)solveigmm(dot)com also the project file.
Regards,
Olga Krovyakova

FLV support is OK in this new beta.

Some FLV files I have that used Sorenson Spark were problematic:

Video
Format                                   : Sorenson Spark
Codec ID                                 : 2

Unfortunately, I am unable to supply a sample as it is an "adult" video.

What happened was that VideoSplitter produced a file that upon playback was showing the full length of the original file but only the split part played.

i.e. take a 3 minute video, extract a 10 second clip, Trim it. Play it back - the video look like it is 3 minutes long but only the 10 second clip plays.

Hello to all!

Video Spitter 3.7 beta with .flv support is available for evaluation.

You could try it from the link below:
http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_3_7_Beta.exe

We always appreciate any feedback and/or bug reports.

If you notice something wrong, please post here or contact with our Support Team at support(at)solveigmm(dot)com.

It will be great if we could get the sample of original .flv file with which you get an error (you can upload it e.g. to filedropper.com) and the project file (after you've chosen the fragments for saving go to File -> Save project file as...).

Hi terratec1234,

Just out of curiousity what Program do you use on FLV's?

At the moment I use AVS Video ReMaker 4.1.

Hopefully, VideoSplitter will support .flv soon.

Do you plan any time soon to to support .flv files in Video Splitter?
(Currently, I have to use another program for .flv).

Thanks.
