Hello Jochen,

The issue with error message in VLC media player of  Video Splitter output avi files was fixed in the beta versions available at the links below:

I've reproduced the same issue with our files and VLC palyer.

We will try to fix this issue at near future.

Hi,

very rarely I get an avi file that works perfectly when opened in VLC, but which "after Solveig" gives out an error message which reads somthing like "avi file's index is broken or missing....."

This happens to those files even if I only open them in the Splitter and tell it to split right away.

Is this a known problem, and if so, is there a solution?
